Toys at Night

“Toys At Night” by Faye R. DesPres, illustrated and designed by Anya Lauchlan, is a special book.

It features a series of imaginative stories that revolve around a group of toys coming to life. They tell their stories to a wise Tomcat, who whispers them into the ears of the sleeping children.

Each enchanting, charmingly illustrated tale emphasises themes of kindness, friendship, and self-acceptance.

The children wake up believing they have dreamt up the stories of their toys, leading to a sense of wonder and magic.

The book was created as a special humanitarian project in aid of the Children Of Ukraine.

This is the author and artist’s second collaboration, following from Soul To Soul – an illustrated short stories book published by HIP in the USA.
